Inspiring Landscapes

Nature's Nobility in Fine Art Images by David Dilworth

What’s New --

  • Slide Show for Carmel Valley Women’s Network – Thursday May 3, 2007, 12:30 Carmel Valley Village Church (free)

  • Sunsets IV, Animals

  • I made a delightfully successful presentation to the Carmel Foundation March 26, 2007. Among other compliments, they asked me to publish a book of my images. Another gentlemen opined that I their group had seen thousands of photos of Big Sur, but that I "had 'captured Big Sur' as we really know it."

* While I have more than 50,000 images, this website only showcases some 60, with only 15 or so in this slideshow. The slide show for Carmel Foundation exhibited some 250 images.

Function Help --

  • Clicking on images does nothing at this time.  Clicking on image titles does work.
  • You cannot yet see large high quality versions of the images because they are not yet adequately protected from those who might "borrow" the images without permission.
  •  The only functions implemented are to View --
  1. Galleries of images, and
  2. Categories of small individual images, and
  3. A slideshow of a a dozen or so individual images and their associated poem.
  4. * NEW – You may now purchase prints by clicking on "Purchase" at the bottom of the page where images have been prepared for printing.
  5. Ten Percent (10%) of every sale goes directly to HOPE (Helping Our Peninsula's Environment).
  6. *** Not all images are available yet as of August 22, 2006

That's it - for now. (But always try the "More" button at the bottom of the page)

If you want to be notified when the website is officially published, or if you have some suggestions for improvements – just let me know.

*** NEW – Testing Automatic Slideshow software as of August 6, 2006.

If you leave any screen (this is entirely separate from the slideshow) for more than 15 seconds, it will advance to the next set of 4 images. It will loop around when it gets to the end. At any time, you may click the titles (not the images) of any set of 4 images that shows up to change direction.

You can use it as a rotating fine art show when you aren’t working on your computer.

*** Let me know if you like this feature – or not. Since this is rather expensive software to license - If this "feature" feels awkward I don't want to waste money on it.
